Practical guide

Preparing your logo for textile printing

A well-prepared logo guarantees a crisp result. Here are the best practices for delivering the right file to your printer.

Favour vector files

Vector formats (SVG, AI, EPS, PDF) are preferable: they scale without any loss of quality. If you only have a PNG or JPG, Beetee can vectorize it for free.

Watch your contrasts

On dark textiles, avoid colours too close to the background. For flocking, stick to 1-2 colours maximum. With DTF, you have more freedom.

Prepare the variants

Provide your logo in a positive version (for light backgrounds) and a negative one (for dark backgrounds). This avoids visual compromises.

Plan for the minimum size

Fine details disappear below 5mm. Simplify your logo if needed for small sizes (embroidery on a polo).

Keep your source files

Store your Illustrator/Photoshop sources. Beetee archives your print-ready files for restocks.
