DTF, embroidery or flock: which technique should you choose?
Our detailed comparisons — colours, durability, costs, lead times — to decide with full knowledge.
The right choice depends on your artwork, the fabric and the use. DTF printing (Direct-to-Film) is the most versatile: it reproduces complex logos, gradients and photos with no colour limit, on almost any fabric, and withstands more than 50 washes — ideal for a detailed company logo or colourful merch. Embroidery delivers a premium, durable finish, perfect for an understated logo on a polo, jacket or cap: it elevates the image of a practice or an SME. Flock (heat-applied vinyl) excels at short texts, names and numbers in one or two colours — the natural choice for sports jerseys, where DTF (the club logo) and flock (each player's name and number) are often combined. If in doubt, describe your project: we recommend the most suitable and most cost-effective technique, with a free mockup to back it up.
