Personalized t-shirts and clothing for festivals in Belgium
Organizing a festival or large event in Belgium often means ordering personalized textiles for staff, volunteers and the public. Here's how Beetee supports you in dressing your event from A to Z.
Textiles by Role
🎤 Staff & Organization
"STAFF" or "CREW" t-shirts or polo shirts in express flocking. Maximum visibility, fast production.
🤝 Volunteers
Colorful t-shirts with event logo in DTF. Makes it easy to identify volunteers in the crowd.
🎵 Artists & Backstage
Premium hoodies or artistic t-shirts. DTF for complex tour designs.
👥 Audience & Merchandising
T-shirts and sweaters to sell as souvenirs. DTF to reproduce the festival poster on textile.
Which textile should you choose for your event?
The choice of garment depends on use and budget. For staff or volunteers who will wear the t-shirt for a single day, a 150-165 g/m² t-shirt is enough and keeps the budget low. For merchandising sold to the public or pieces meant to be worn again, go for 180 g/m² combed cotton, with a superior look and durability. Backstage hoodies and sweaters come in 280-320 g/m² for a premium feel.
On colors, a light garment shows off colorful DTF visuals; a dark garment requires DTF printing with a white base (included, no extra cost). For a multi-role event, use the garment color rather than the marking to tell staff, volunteers and security apart at a glance.
DTF, flock or screen printing: which technique for a festival?
Festivals generally have complex artistic visuals, with gradients, illustrations and many colors. DTF is the perfect technique to faithfully reproduce these designs on fabric — with no color limit and photo-realistic quality. Each technique has its sweet spot, though:
- DTF: posters, illustrations and multicolor logos. No setup cost, worthwhile from 20 pieces, photo-realistic finish.
- Flock: simple wording such as "STAFF", "SECURITY", "VOLUNTEER" in 1-2 colors — highly legible from a distance and economical.
- Screen printing: relevant above 200-300 identical pieces with a 1-3 color design (high-volume public merchandising).
In practice, most events combine DTF (main visual on the front) and flock (role wording on the back), all in a single order.
Indicative Budget by Quantity
- 50 pieces: indicative budget €550–650 excl. VAT (t-shirts Simple Pack to Pro Pack)
- 100 pieces: indicative budget €1,000–1,200 excl. VAT (volume discount applied)
- 200 pieces: indicative budget €2,000–2,400 excl. VAT (maximum economies of scale)
Our pricing starts at a minimum order of 20 pieces and scales down at 25, 50, 100 and 200 pieces. Mixed sizes are included, and a single order can combine staff t-shirts and backstage hoodies with no technical surcharge.
Lead times: the event backwards plan
Our standard production takes 5 to 15 working days after proof approval, plus 1 to 3 days of delivery in Belgium (Bpost or DPD). Plan for about 3 weeks between quote approval and receipt, with a margin for any design adjustments.
An express production in 5 working days is possible (+20%) when the textile is in stock — useful for a last-minute top-up (extra volunteers, size restock). Past mid-June, slots fill up fast.
Order Early — Especially for Summer
For summer festivals (June-August), we recommend ordering between March and April. This gives you time to validate the design, handle unexpected issues and have your textiles well before the big day.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum is 20 pieces, with mixed sizes and models. You can therefore combine staff t-shirts, volunteer polos and backstage hoodies within a single order.
In which format should I supply my artwork?
A high-resolution transparent PNG, a vector PDF or an AI/SVG file are ideal. If you only have a low-resolution logo, we rework or vectorize it before production.
Can you produce urgently before the festival?
Yes, with express production in 5 working days (+20%) when the chosen textile is in stock. Past a certain point, pickup at the Huizingen workshop avoids the carrier risk.
Does VAT apply?
Beetee applies the exemption scheme: VAT is not applicable and is not charged, with the corresponding mention on the quote and invoice.
